The Kenneweg Family Name

KENNEWEG is my maiden name and I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa.  It is my understanding that members of the Kenneweg family came to the United States from Prussia. One of my dad's sisters told me that the name means "I know the way".   

Through the internet, I became acquainted with a very kind entrepreneurial young man in Germany who explained that it translates more correctly into "someone who searches for new paths".
